In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren once a week which explores the weekly contents of your mailbox and books bought.

For Review:

Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen (Penguin/October 12, 2010 - Australia)

THE YEAR IS 1929.
NEW YORK IS RULED BY THE BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS:
FLAPPERS AND SOCIALITIES SEEKING THRILLS AND CHASING DREAMS
IN THE ANYTHING-GOES EAR OF THE ROARING TWENTIES

Letty Larkspur and Cordelia Grey have escaped their small Midwestern town for New York's glittering metropolis. All Letty wants is to see her name in lights, but she quickly discovers Manhattan is gilled with pretty girls who will doanything to be a star . . .

Cordelia is searching for the father she's never known, a man as infamous for his wild parties as he is for his shadowy schemes. Overnight, she enters a world more thrilling and glamours than she could have imagined-and more dangerous. It's a life anyone would kill for . . . and someone will.

The only person Cordelia can trust is Astrid Donal, a flapper who seems to have it all: money, looks, and the love of Cordelia's brother, Charlie. But Astrid's perfect veneer hides a score of family secrets.

Across the vast lawns of Long Island, in the illicit speakeasies of Manhattan, and on the blindingly lit stages of Broadway, the three girls' fortunes will rise and fall-together and apart. From the New York Times bestselling author of THE LUXE come an epic new series set in the dizzying last summer of the Jazz Age.

Thanks to Penguin Australia for proving me a copy!

Bought:

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins (Scholastic Press/August 24, 2010)
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare (Margaret K. McElderry/August 31, 2010)
Return to Paradise by Simone Elkeles (Flux/September 1, 2010)

It came, it came, it came, Mockingjay finally came! I’m really excited to get into it, I’ve only read a few chapters so far but I’m loving it. I’m excited to start Return to Paradise as well because I adored Leaving Paradise, there have been a lot of mixed reviews around I hope I wont be disappointed. Finally, Clockwork Angel this book is bigger than I expected I mean it’s like a brick good thing I have a two week break coming up so I can read all of these books!

So that’s it from me, I hope you guys all had a great week, what books did you receive?
