In My Mailbox #19

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren once a week which explores the weekly contents of your mailbox and books bought.

For Review:

Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride (Penguin Australia/November 22, 2010)

Sam leads a pretty normal life. He may not have the most exciting job in the world, but he's doing all right - until a fast food prank brings him to the attention of Douglas, a creepy guy with an intense violent streak.

Turns out Douglas is a necromancer who raises the dead for cash and sees potential in Sam. Then Sam discovers he's a necromancer too, but with strangely latent powers. And his worst nightmare wants to join forces . . . or else.

With only a week to figure things out, Sam needs all the help he can get. Luckily he lives in Seattle, which has nearly as many paranormal types as it does coffee places. But can a bratty harbinger named Ashley save his skin?

Thanks to Penguin Australia for providing me with this review copy!

Well as you can all tell this week was a pretty slow week for me book wise, only one book I'm shocked, no shopping for me until exams are over, only one more week left, yay! That's it from me, what did you guys get in your mailbox?

I'm jealous! Where did you get it?

I'm so curious, because people have said it's pretty good.
I saw it at Target and squealed because I rarely find good books to buy in stores. I always get em online.
Yay! One more week left. Hope you enjoy, Romy! I didn't request that one, mostly because I've got too much on my TBR right now, especially from Penguin. Hope you enjoy!

Do you request the books you want to read from Penguin? I just read whatever I get sent, I haven't even thought of requesting books, I feel funny about requesting stuff as I'm still newish to blogging, that's just me though.

About Elixir, I've seen it in a bookstore near me so it is available in Australia. Have you seen the book trailer for it yet?
I got that one a few weeks ago and can't wait to read it. It looks so great! Hope you enjoy it.

Raising the dead can be a deadly experience. Excuse the pun ;P

Enjoy the read and the cover is completely different from what I'd imagined it would be.

I want to read this one! I love the title.
I'm a new follower! I love this site. Just entered your giveaway...I've been here way too long now. LOL
Good luck with your exams! I haven't heard a whole lot about this book, but I'm interested in seeing what you think of it!

About Me
Romy @ Lost.in.Stories
Greetings fellow blog readers, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. Now you may be wondering who is lost.in.stories? Well lost.in.stories is also known as Romy, a 23 year old graduate student from Australia who loves to read. I read (maybe devour would be a more appropriate word) largely young adult novels, with a particular love of fantasy and paranormal novels, however I am also a sucker for a good romance.
