Waiting on Wednesday: Return to Paradise by Simone Elkeles

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted Jill @ Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" is:

Return to Paradise by Simone Elkeles

Release Date: September 1, 2010
Publisher: Flux
Age Group: Young Adult
Pages: 312

Maggie and Caleb just went through the worst year of their lives. Hit by a car and starting life over with a limp, Maggie never thought she would forgive Caleb. But she did-and fell in love. What they shared was real. But Caleb wanted to be free from the past-and a terrible secret: he wasn't the one who hit Maggie. So he left Paradise-and Maggie-forever.

When Maggie and Caleb run into each other in a different town, they can't deny their true feelings. Will Maggie let Caleb get away again? Or will Caleb face the truth and return to Paradise?

I fell in love with Maggie and Caleb in Leaving Paradise and I have been longing for a continuation of their story since I finished it and I only read it at the start of this year I feel sorry for those who read it when it was first released in April of 2007. Well three years later and my wish has been granted! I have read a couple of early reviews some loved it whilst others were disappointed, I have high expectations for this book but I’m sure Simone will deliver the goods!

What's your "waiting on" pick this week?

Thanks for your comment!
I agree, 2011 is just too far away, it's almost painful!

I haven't read 'Leaving Paradise', would you recommend it? I don't read much contemporary, so I'm a little wary...

I haven't read Leaving Paradise either, but I have heard nothing but good thing a about it. Hope Returning to Paradise is a great sequel.

OMG! I didn't know this book was a continuation of Leaving Paradise. I'm going to have to read that one first before I can even think of reading this one-- and the first one is already on my TBR.

Thanks for visiting my WoW + blog. :)

I love Simone Elkeles and the Perfect Chemistry series, but I haven't read this one yet. I will have to check it out!

I need to read something by Simone. I think Perfect Chemistry will come first though when I do.

You should look out for TRANCE by Linda Gerber if you like Paranormal novels. :)

Great pick! I loved Perfect Chemistry so I should probably read her other books as well.
