Greetings fellow blog readers, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. Now you may be wondering who is lost.in.stories? Well lost.in.stories is also known as Romy, a 23 year old graduate student from Australia who loves to read.

Whilst I have always had a love of reading (primarily due to my mother who always has a book in her hand) it has been only recently that I have rekindled my passion for reading. Nothing is better than sitting down with a good book in your hands immersing yourself completely in the world that the author creates, bliss! Once I started reading all these great books I needed something that allowed me to write down my thoughts and also enabled me to tell others about the awesomeness of the books I read, so voilà lost.in.stories was born.

I read (maybe devour would be a more appropriate word) largely young adult novels, with a particular love of fantasy and paranormal novels, however I am also a sucker for a good romance.

A bit more about me …
You may be thinking that because I write reviews I may be an English major. Well no I actually majored in Science (conservation biology), and am currently undertaking research on relocation of animals for my thesis, I just happen to really enjoy reading and writing about the books I read. Apart from reading I also enjoy going on nature walks (I walked, well maybe sweated, panted and hobbled through, the Inca Trail last year, it nearly killed me but I finished it, everyone should do it its great) and jogging with my miniature schnauzer Gus, who is the cutest dog ever! I also have two cats who I adore.
