Waiting on Wednesday: Ghost Town by Rachel Caine

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted Jill @ Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" is:

Ghost Town (The Morganville Vampires #9) by Rachel Caine

Release Date: October 26, 2010
Publisher: NAL Hardcover
Age Group: Young Adult
Pages: 352

The fragile peace between humans and vampires in Morganville is in trouble, and when Claire takes drastic action, she's put under serious pressure to re-establish the barriers that keep the town residents inside, and wipe the memories of those who leave. But working with her half-crazy vampire boss Myrnin means that things don't always turn out as planned ... and as the people of Morganville begin acting strangely, Claire and her friends must solve the mystery and try to put things right. But one by one, her allies are turning on her ... even the ones she trusts most.

This series is one of my all time favorites. We have been introduced to so many interesting and crazy characters, some more crazier than others, throughout the series. I have a soft sport for all the inhabitants of the Glass House, Claire, Shane, Eve and Michael but my favourite character by far is Shane *sighs* who I am in love with, oh Shane if only you were real! Anyway, I’ve gone off track, as you can tell I love this series so I can’t wait until Ghost Town is released. For all of those who haven’t read The Morganville Vampires *Gasps, why?* you should, I suggest you find yourself a copy!

That my “waiting on” pick, what's yours this week?

* For those of you who are interested the first two chapters of Ghost Town are available on Rachel’s website, simply click HERE
